Marino Institute of Education offers the offcampusrooms.mie.ie accommodation portal for general information purposes and it should not be relied upon as the basis for making any decision. It is offered as a support to MIE students and local landlords and homeowners.
Properties listed have not been visited or inspected by Marino Institute of Education and the Institute does not carry out Garda vetting on prospective landlords. The Institute retains no information on the performance of these accommodations from year to year. Each student and their parents/guardians are responsible for checking any property and satisfying themselves that they are happy with the accommodation offered and the individuals involved before signing any agreement.
Marino Institute of Education and its officers accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered as a result of any reliance or non-reliance on any material in this portal. Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this website, no liability is accepted for any errors or omissions.
The information provided on the website is for information purposes only and should not be construed as a representation, recommendation or endorsement made on behalf of Marino Institute of Education. The website content does not form part of any contractual agreement with Marino Institute of Education and any lease, licence or letting agreement entered into shall be between the student and the landlord only.
Please note that Marino Institute of Education is not a regulatory body insofar as accommodation registered with the Institute is concerned. It is the responsibility of each student and their parents/guardians to check the property and satisfy themselves that they are comfortable with the accommodation arrangements and the individuals involved before signing any agreement.
The Institute cannot take responsibility or become involved in any disputes or letting issues between tenants and landlords.

Data Protection
What data will be collected and processed?
In order to set up your account as a Homeowner we will need to collect your name, address, postcode, email address & telephone number (both home and mobile).
How will my information be used?
Once you have submitted your details, MIE will upload the information to our accommodation portal, for the purpose of informing any renters of available properties in the area. This portal is publicly available and can be viewed by anyone.
You may be contacted using the information you have provided on your advertisement by interested renters.
How long will my data be stored for?
Your information in your ad will be active for a period of 12 months unless you decide to hide or delete it. After the initial 12 months, if your ad has not been hidden or deleted you will have to manually renew the ad. If none of the properties on your account are renewed, your account will be deleted, along with all information held by MIE.
It is important to keep in mind that you can delete your information from the portal at any time if you feel you do not want it to be processed any further by MIE.
MIE will only process your data for the purposes laid out in this disclaimer.

By submitting details of a property to the portal, homeowners consent to have this information displayed on this publicly available accommodation portal. Your ad will be active for a period of 12 months unless you hide/delete it. After that time, it will have to be manually renewed. If none of the properties on your account are renewed your account will be deleted. Inclusion in our portal is at the discretion of the Institute and it reserves the right to withdraw service from any individual without notice.
